The building known today as Gold Street Inn was
built around 1914. Originally it was two cabins
and a horse barn. In 1946 Earl Crass combined the
three buildings to create a small hotel until 1978
when it was bought by the Cashen family next door
and became Cashen Quarters. In 2001 the building
came under new ownership to what it is today, Juneau
Gold Street Inn.
